The recommendations stop short of establishing one unified federal cyber agency, an idea that some cyber experts have advanced in recent years. Rather, it suggested the National Cyber Director in the White House take the lead on national coordination. "I feel it's a strong report," Sen. Angus King (I-Maine), who co-chaired the commission, told POLITICO. "There's not a lot of holding back or timid recommendations."
